  1. Methods Of Baking

  2. INTRODUCTION With immense creativity out there, we are enthused to pour out our minds into creating what we love. It applies to the art of baking too. People are interested in baking and creating unique recipes, and so we are involved in upgrading ourselves by turning our hobbies into professions. Many baking classes in Chennai are helping to enhance your creativity by giving proper training. It is better to know the standard baking methods before you invent one. The following are some of the basic baking methods.

  3. Creaming Method In the method of creaming, sugar is added with butter. Both sugar and butter are mixed and beaten until it turns colour. After a constant beating, volume seems to be increased, becoming softer in form and texture. The softness and the volume increase are due to air bubbles forming during the beating. Then add eggs one at a time. After eggs, add other dry ingredients and liquids, such as milk, essence, etc., and mix well. These ingredients provide enough moisture to the mixture and prevent the batter from getting dry and hard-baked cakes as a final product.

  4. Whipping Method The whipping method is also known as the whisking or foaming method. This method is commonly used for baking sponge cakes. In the process of whipping, part of the sugar is added to the eggs before starting to whip. While we begin to beat eggs, air cells will be formed and incorporated into the mix. This incorporation affects the raising process. So eggs and sugar are warmed at 38 degrees before whipping. This procedure softens the egg yolk and gives greater volume and quick whip. The foam from egg yolk formed, which contains sufficient air for a stiff whipping. This aeration process improves the volume and gives us spongy cakes. Learn from the professional baking classes in Chennai to know more about the whipping method.

  5. Rubbing In Method This method involves rubbing the butter into the flour by fingertips. Here butter is directly applied over the flour in the bowl. Thus we will get the flour coated with butter. This layer of butter prevents contact between the water and the flour particles. It is preferred to use the fingertips rather than the palms for mixing as it disturbs the consistency of the entire batter. All In One Method As the name suggests, all the ingredients, including dry and wet substances, are added and mixed well at a time, which is made into a delicate batter. After that batter will be poured into the lined cake tin and baked in an oven.

  6. CONCLUSION Here the cake batter is made by melting all the ingredients. The baking process starts by melting the sugar and butter in the pot at an appropriate temperature. Unlike others, in this method, the batter will be more dense and rich, but the baking time will be more compared to other methods. These are some of the baking methods.
