ABC Inventions. By: Mrs. Roden’s Second Grade class 2009-2010. A is for Alarm. An alarm wakes us up so we can get ready for school. B is bus. A bus gets us to and from school so we can learn. C is for computer. We use a computer daily to play First in Math. D is for Digital Camera.

  2. A is for Alarm An alarm wakes us up so we can get ready for school.

  3. B is bus. • A bus gets us to and from school so we can learn.

  4. C is for computer. • We use a computer daily to play First in Math.

  5. D is for Digital Camera • We use a digital camera to take pictures of our friends and family.

  6. E is for eraser. • We use erasers daily when we make mistakes in our school work.

  7. F is for folder. • Mrs. Roden sends our test papers home every Monday in a folder.

  8. G is for Germ-X • We use Germ-X everyday to get our hands clean.

  9. H is for highway. • Highways help us to get to and from places more quickly.

  10. I is for inhaler. • An inhaler can help us to breath.

  11. J is for jet. • A jet can help you get where you need to go quickly.

  12. K is for keyboard. • A keyboard can help you type on a computer.

  13. L is for light bulb. • We can use a light bulb to see when we are doing our homework.

  14. M is for mouse • We use a mouse to click on stuff on the computer.

  15. N is for Nintendo DSI • You can get on the Internet on the Nintendo DSI instead of using a computer.

  16. O is for overhead projector • We use an overhead projector everyday with our promethean board.

  17. P is for Promethean Board. • We use the Promethean Board to do our morning work.

  18. Q is for Q-tip. • Q-tips help us by cleaning our ears out.

  19. R is for radio. • We use a radio to listen to the news.

  20. S is for stapler • We use a stapler to staple paper.

  21. T is for Telephone . We use a telephone to communicate with people.

  22. U is for umbrella. We use a umbrella when it rains.

  23. V is for vacuum cleaner. We use a vacuum cleaner to clean carpet.

  24. W is for washing machine. • A washing machine helps us wash our clothes.

  25. X is for X- ray machine. • A doctor uses a x-ray machine to see if our bones are broken.

  26. Y is for You Tube. We go to www.youtube.com to find funny videos.

  27. Z is for zipper. • We use a zipper to zip our jacket.
