  4. 2 fares ranges in the UK,both accessible in Euronet :

  5. Integration of “ATOC” range in Euronet (1) Euronet has been adapted to be able to sell “ATOC” domestic fare range. This has impacts in 3 main areas : • Quotation / Search process • ATOC products ONLY bookable via PTP “Price Search” (PTP “Search by Schedule” not available) • No full day search for train schedule  5 schedules returned at a time • New search options “Dual Single” and “Open Return” are introduced • New UK station database will be used for ATOC searches • Passenger assignment • 8 passengers maximum per booking • Individual passenger assignment required • TOD fulfillment only – No paper tickets 5

  6. Integration of “ATOC” range in Euronet (2) • Booking status and confirmation process The PNR is created ONLY when the booking is queued for print / printed. This has the following consequences : • Impossible to use the options “modify”, “pax reduction”, or “repeat” : User must create a new request • There is no “hold” status , there is no “TTL” • Seat assignment, when applicable, will only happen at “queue for print” or “final” status • Once in “queue for print” or “final” , booking is confirmed and invoiced • No booking modifications (modify or removal) possible once in Final Status : rebooking is required and after-sales conditions apply 6

  7. 7 Quotation / Search process (1) 1 3 2 5 4 7 6 8 9

  8. Quotation / Search process (2) • (1) In the PTP Price Search “Search By Price” • (2) Select “ATOC” in the dropdown list • (3) Choose : 8

Clients must show railcard upon request • (6) Choose “Product type” in the drop down list (“Retail”) • (7) Select the “Class of service” : First / Second / Both • (8) Select the displayed package by Price / Flexibility • (9) Click on “Search” 9

  10. 10 Solution / Fare details • (1) Click on City/station detail to display the train “solutions details”, Select the outbound schedule by clicking on the price info • (2) Click on the fare underlined to obtain the “package fare details” (sales conditions), then, select the fare • It is important that user advise customer of Sales Rules prior to sales • Train details and sales conditions are available in similar screens as today • Maximum 3 segments = 2 connexions • (3) Click on “Next” 1 2 3 1 2

  11. 11 Passenger assignment • Individual Passenger assignment is required • If you click on “Preference” , you’ll find seat preferences such as : • ATOC Options : business, family, quiet, restaurant • Seat position : aisle, middle, window, individual • Seat direction : back, facing, airline • Then, after the individual passenger assignment, click on “Next”, you’ll find the Product Summary, where each segment will be listed. As usual, click on “Book now”

  12. TOD issuance mode • Back in the main page, you are now in the step 1 of 2 with a product booked and all the info completed • (1) Select TOD in the drop list of the product description : User must select only TOD option • There are no “Confirm” or “Modify” buttons : • No PAX reduction • No modification possible • If you need to change something, you’ll have to do a new request and click on the “Remove” button • (2) Click on “Next”, and “Finish” 1 1 2 2 12

  15. Retrieving ticket As all UK Rail tickets are issued as TOD, travellers will need to retrieve their actual travel documents prior to boarding their train. The booking summary is not valid for travel… • When ? • Train tickets can be collected at any staffed station ticket office before departure • To avoid last minute rush, we recommend that travellers arrive at the station at least 20 minutes prior to train departure • Where ? • Travellers can collect their actual tickets • - Either at a staffed ticket office in a train station • - Or at a "TVM" (Ticket Vending Machine), also known as "Fast Ticket" • There are more than 400 stations equipped with TVMs in the UK (complete list available in Extranet) • How? • To collect their actual travel documents, travellers will need to quote their reference number (PNR), available on the booking summary • When retrieving their tickets from a TVM, they will also need to • - insert their debit/credit card to activate the machine (the TVM doesn't debit the card) • - follow the steps indicated on the screen of the TVM 15

  16. 16 Tips (1) • London International CIV station : • For customers connecting to/from Eurostar, you can select “London International (CIV)” • CIV means : “International Conditions of Sale” , and refers to a set of uniform rules shared by European railway operators, to cover international journeys. • The acronym "CIV" will be printed on the corner of tickets issued to show that travel is covered under the terms of the CIV contract (primarily providing compensation for lost baggage and a guarantee of onward transport, in the event of cancelled or missed connections).

  17. 17 Tips (2) • Journey Breakpoint : • When booking an international itinerary, including one non-pure UK Rail segment (for instance Manchester-Paris), you will you need to specify the “breakpoint” city and a minimum connection time • Most of the time this will happen when requesting a UK domestic segment + a Eurostar one • A pop up will come up automatically • We recommend that you allow a minimum time connexion of 1H30 in London to take into account the Eurostar check-in time and potential delays 90

  18. 18 Tips (3) • Tickets including the London Underground (Pure ATOC case) : • If you specify Manchester to London (city-to-city, with no stations specified), your journey will terminate at the closest station (e.g. London Euston). • If you specify Manchester to London St Pancras (London station specified) the solution will be returned with a London Underground segment included, and the cost of that transfer is included in the ticket price quoted.

  19. 19 Tips (4) • Tickets including the London Underground (ATOC / non-ATOC case) : • When you specify, for an international itinerary, “London” as a breakpoint city, Euronet interprets this as “London St Pancras”. • The middle segment included will be a London Underground segment, included in the price of the ATOC ticket • For instance, for Manchester – Paris, Euronet will return the following solution :  • Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston • London Euston to London St Pancras • London St Pancras to Paris Nord

  20. 20 Tips (5) • For a round-trip journey, you can “mix and match”! • You can either choose: • A return fare such as Off-Peak Return, Anytime Return • Or “mix and match” two single (one-way) fares ! Sometimes it is a cheaper option ! • Advance tickets are only single (one way) tickets. There are no Advance Return fares, however, you can "mix and match" two one-way Advance fares for a return journey!
