  4. Wellbeing – The Early years Started with on-site fitness classes 5 years ago, realised my passion for Wellbeing and wanted to do more.. Business case to management team Formed a team of volunteers – we all have day jobs Followed gut feel as to what employees would benefit from REUTERS/Beawiharta

WELLBEING INTERVENTIONS • Sample of Targeted Events • Wellbeing Week – various activities • Life Clubs workshop • Developing Resilience to Pressure Week • Health awareness – male cancers presentation • Time management workshop • Financial Advice day Regular Activities • Fitness classes & Pilates on site at lunchtime • Lunchtime run club • Masseurs on site quarterly • Dr Bike – on site maintenance • Subsidised fruit

GETTING IT RIGHT Wellbeing Survey & Health Checks Key Findings • Only 28% performing recommended amount of daily activity. • Only 17 % having 5 a day. • 30% drinking above recommended limit. • Survey did show we had a happy workforce! • First round Health Checks recommended attention to healthy eating and weight management, due to the high %age of people with high cholesterol readings, waist circumference and BMI measurements.
