Grace (Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences) - Alabar Bloodstock Horse Stud - • About the program: FSTE’s Industry Cadetship Program supports students to undertake paid industry placements to complement their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. • The program has run for more than 11 years, and placed more than 1,100 students from a variety of science disciplines into small, medium and large businesses across both the private and public sectors.

Students receive an employer-funded scholarship for the duration of the cadetship. Cadetships occur during the mid-year (winter) or end-of-year (summer) holiday period. Programs can also be structured as part-time, semester or year-long placements.

  10. Lee (Master of Information Technology) - AirServices Australia - • What are the benefits? Students apply knowledge and skills from their academic studies within a real workplace environment. This hones their skills, while developing a greater understanding of workplace expectations, career paths and even specialisations. It can also help identify postgraduate projects. • The Industry Cadetship team monitor and visit each student during placements, to ensure satisfaction from both the cadet and the supervisor, and to gather feedback to improve the overall program.
