  3. AQUA AEROBICS: Taught by Marsha Bisker, this classes uses both deep and shallow water exercises for a low to no impact workout, set to music. You can sing while you swim! Tues/Thurs, 5:15pm, 45 minute format BODY CONDITIONING: Kim Yost leads this class through various body conditioning exercises using small weighted balls, dumbbells, resistance tubing and sports-specific movements. Fridays, 12:30pm, 45 minute format BODY SCULPTING: Taught by Brenda Salas, Wellness Coordinator, this challenging and fun class uses resistance tubing, stability balls, weighted bars and dumbbells to strengthen and condition your body, head to toe! Mon/Weds, 12:45pm, 30 minute format JAZZERCISE: Taught by Brenda Salas, Wellness Coordinator, Jazzercise is the original dance aerobics program. Dance to your favorite tunes while you burn fat and develop muscle! Mon/Weds, 12:15pm, 30 minute format **NEW! EXERCISE FOR JOINT MOBILITY AND PROTECTION: Taught by Marsha Bisker, Arthritis Foundation Exercise Instructor An exercise class designed to help those who have joint and/or muscles problems achieve improved joint mobility, muscle strength and endurance. Wednesdays, 12:15pm, 45 minute format PILATES: Taught by Fay Kunkle, this class is based on the philosophy of Joseph Pilates, who dancers to increase strength, flexibility and endurance. This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness, so try a class today! Tuesdays, 1pm, 45 minute format SPINNING: Taught by Kelli Elliott, this class takes you on a bike trip over hills and straight-aways—all without leaving the Fitness Center! Wednesdays, 12:15pm, 45 minute format STEP: Instructor Nancy Brouillette teaches this classic Step class which focuses on lower body conditioning and aerobics. Thursdays, 12:15pm, 45-minute format TAI CHI: Taught by Louise Liu, Tai Chi blends meditation with strengthening and balance poses and exercises. You will get a great body workout, while training your mind at the same time. Mon/Weds, 1:15pm, 45 minute format YOGA: Taught by Sarabess Forster, this very popular class is a journey into the mind-body realm. The poses will have you stronger and more balanced, while the breathing will help you become centered, calmer and less stressed. It’s the best of both worlds! Mondays, 3pm, 45 minute format, Thursdays, 1pm, 45 minute format Tues/Thurs, 5:15pm, 45 minute format **NEW! ZUMBA – taught by Marilin Karst Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away their worries. ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system that is low impact and high energy. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
