  2. Main Magazine Ideas • The genre of music I am planning to use is rock, mainly quite gothic and almost scary looking. • For my model I think I’ll be using a girl because I don’t know many boys who fit the look I’m aiming for and a girl would make an interesting change for a gothic cover.

  3. Cover Model Ideas

The Cover Models • The cover model I am using is actually a female but I can’t find any girls that suit the look I am aiming to use as I want her to look vaguely androgynous. • The girl I have chosen to use suits the look I am going for due to her hair colour and willingness to dress up rather unfeminine.

  5. Music Type As well as quite gothic style bands I also want to use just very original rock bands. These are the sort of bands that I would like to use in my magazine and they also have the style of clothes that I want my model to wear.

  6. Target Audience • I think that this will all suit my target audience because the fact that the model is a girl and also the unique way she’s dressed will appeal to the reformers as reformers are who I am targeting. • Making the model a girl rather than a boy might make the magazine see too bias towards girls but in making the model quite manly in appearance it will appeal to both sexes.

  7. Results • To achieve the results I want, I will have to make sure that the magazine follows the theme and layout that I have designed it to have. • I will make sure to take a lot of different pictures in different modelling positions so that I have a variety of images to use for the cover. • Also I will make sure to appeal to the readers interests by using bands, music genres and articles that will keep the reader intrigued and make them buy the magazine.
