  5. 1- Class Insecta: 1- the body is divided into three region: Head – Thorax – Abdomen. 2- the head bears pair of antenna. 3- Thorax bears three pair of legs and 4- One or two pairs of wings but some insect lack wings.

  6. leg Wings Antenna Head Abdomen Thorax

  7. Some insect such as fleas and lice lack wings Lice Flea

  8. 2- Class Arachnida: 1- no antenna or wings. 2- thorax bears four pairs of legs. 3- the body divided into two region (Cephalothorax) & Abdomen.

  9. Class Arachnida:

  10. Class Arachnida: The body appears as single unsegmented in ticks

  11. Class Arachnida: Legs Post-abdomen or tail 5 segments Pedipalp ٍSting Cephalothorax Pre-abdomen 7 segments العقرب الصحراوية الصفراء Leiurus quinquestriatus

  12. 3- Class Crustacea: 1- head has two pairs of antenna. 2- at least there are five pairs of legs. 3- the body may be either single and unsegmented or segmented and divided into ceaphelothorax and abdomen.

  13. Class Crustacea: Cyclops

  14. 4- Class Diplopoda: millipedes 1- head has one pair of antenna. 2- segmented body is not differentiated into a thorax and abdomen. 3- each segment carries two pair of leg and two pairs of spiracles.

  15. Class Diplopoda

  16. 5- Class Chilopoda: centipedes Similar to millipedes except the body if flattened dorsoventrally and each body segment has only one pair of legs and spiracles
