  3. FJF Employers Event • Creating Jobs but also supporting people into employment • Young people 18-24 and those over 25 from priority areas • Jobs that demonstrate ‘community benefit’ and ‘added value’ • Primarily an employment programme • Additional support to maximise the impact

FJF Employers Event • Proposals submitted to DWP • Successful City Region bid • Birmingham element: City Council as LAB – partnership approach - Be Birmingham as delivery lead • Other successful bids in Birmingham e.g. St. Pauls Community Development Trust • Approach made to employers generating a huge response

  5. FJF Employers Event Objectives of the Event: • To clarify the process of the registration and filling of FJF jobs • To provide details of programme management • To set out the role employers will play in the programme and what additional support will be made available • To give prospective FJF employers the opportunity to ask questions
