We offer amazing and affordable programs in both California (near Los Angeles) and Florida (near Fort Lauderdale). Our 200 hour and 300-hour programs are inspired by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya. His focus on an individualized approach to yoga for each student is at the heart of our training. Through our programs, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the many layers of yoga, advance your own practice, and learn to effectively share your knowledge with others, all in a fun and supportive environment. You will learn how to design and teach safe and transformational yoga classes, and how to use modifications and variations of postures to meet the needs of different individuals. You will also learn how to connect with your students and help them, and yourself, gain a deeper internal awareness and sense of ease through the practice of yoga. You will learn to have confidence in your teaching and in your practice and to find your own unique voice as a yoga teacher. Through our programs, you will learn how to teach a variety of forms of hatha yoga, as well as different methods for effective teaching. Rather than mould you into our style, we believe it is important to honour the individual in you and to help you find your own unique style and path in your yoga journey. We believe that you are more powerful than you could ever imagine and we're here to help you discover your own amazing power. YOGAEDUCATION INSTITUTE ABOUT ME

  4. INTRODUCTION Once they learn they are pregnant, many women are afraid or reluctant to maintain their exercise routine. It can be extremely beneficial and healthy for you and your baby to continue your old routine. In pregnancy, yoga can be a sustaining routine for women for many reasons. Yoga can be an important tool in adjusting aches and pains caused by the body's rapid changes. As well as helping with relaxation, stress management, and mental preparation for the big day, it can also help prepare mamas-to-be mentally. Talk to your doctor if you are planning to start or continue your yoga practice, as certain pregnancy-related conditions may limit your abilities to practice. Pregnant women should avoid practising in a hot room, especially in the first trimester. YOGAEDUCATION INSTITUTE

  6. BEST TYPES OF YOGA FOR PREGNANCY Expectant mothers' bodies are unique, so there is no one-size-fits-all class. If you are expecting, prenatal yoga is an excellent option. Yoga for pregnant women is taught with the changing bodies of a pregnant woman in mind. They are slower paced than typical yoga classes and are gentler. We find that pregnant women are most interested in our Y6 Flow and Y6 Stretch yoga classes. No matter what type of yoga practice you pursue, you will have to make modifications. Take the prenatal class if you have never taken a yoga class or practised at home. YOGA EDUCATION INSTITUTE

  7. BEST YOGA POSES FOR EXPECTING MOTHERS As you progress through your trimesters, you will be able to practice different poses. Women are advised to avoid deep twists and forward folds during the first few months of pregnancy. Your body needs time to adjust to all of the changes taking place during this time. These two poses are okay once you have passed through your first trimester, so long as you don't overextend. In preparation for labour, the body releases a hormone called Relaxin that helps ligaments stretch. Pregnant yoga classes for women are often very flexible. Do not overstretch, as this is especially important. It may result in problems after delivery. It is also important to note that you shouldn't lie on your stomach as soon as it starts to feel uncomfortable.

  8. HOW LONG CAN I PRACTICE YOGA WHILE PREGNANT? Each person has a different yoga practice. The key to extending your practice into pregnancy is to find what works for you and your body. Listen to what your body is telling you. It may be easier or harder to practice certain positions during pregnancy than before. Prepare your body for the excitement that lies ahead by using your practice to relieve stress. YOGA EDUCATION INSTITUTE
