JBFSA Roles and Responsibilities JFCOM ARMY • Oversight & directive authority for FIOP IAW MID 912 • Develop JBFSA Joint CONOPs, Joint Op Arch, IERs, TTPs, Joint MNS/ICD and ORD/CDD/CPD • Coordinate Joint training • Lead the JBFSA IPT • Manage & coordinate JBFSA efforts • Develop JBFSA System Architectures - “As-Is” and Objective configurations • Recommend improvements to interoperability • Lead engineering efforts AIR FORCE • Lead FIOP efforts IAW JFCOM and USAF MOU • Coordinate picture efforts SERVICES, SOCOM • Participate in all aspects of JBFSA • Acquisition of Service-specific JBFSA equipment (maintain Title 10 authority)

Army IT Transformational Accomplishments to Date • Established Network Enterprise and Technology Command - (NETCOM) • Created Integrated Theater Signal Battalions and Tactical Installation Networking Company’s • Merged ARNG (GuardNet) and USAR (ARNet) with Army Strategic Networks (under NETCOM) – USAR MOA June 03/NGB MOA Sept 03 • Merging AC and RC Network Operations Centers for Integrated AC/RC NETOPS – In planning stage • Implementing Army Knowledge Management via Army Knowledge Online – single Army Knowledge Portal • Rapidly fielded Blue Force Tracking capability for OEF/OIF – moving quickly towards Joint Common Operational Picture – Expanding Globally Across Army – JROC “…..Army Lead Service” - June 03
