What the heck is triangulation? • Collecting information through the use of different perspectives, methods and sources to check if the interpretation of data can be supported. • Don’t leave all your eggs in one basket!!! Researcher Triangulation • Comparing data from various observers, interviewers, or researchers. • Having more than one researcher increases inter-rater reliability. • If the results are consistent for all members of the team, it means it was not just from the view of one single observer.
