2. Create a poster on Newton’s Laws • 1. You need a title • 2. Divide your paper into three sections. Explain each law in your own words. • 3. 3. Newton’s Laws 1st law - An object will stay at rest or continue at a constant velocity unless an unbalanced force acts on it. Inertia -tendency of an object to resist any change in motion 2nd law - Acceleration depends on the object’s mass and net force acting on the object F=M x A or A = F/M If the mass is constant, the more force causes more acceleration. If the force is constant, the more mass will cause less acceleration. Unbalanced forces cause a change in motion. Forces cause motion. 3rd law - For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction
