Membership Update • MOREnet consortium experienced a 97% overall member retention in FY12 • FY11 bandwidth increased 35% • FY12 bandwidth projected increase 40% • MOREnet membership continues to grow! • Five new members added in FY12 • City of Marceline is now a MOREnet member! • One member who retained their membership services in FY12, also returned for Internet Connectivity after only a brief time off the MOREnet Network.

FY13 Fees: K-12, MERC and Affiliates • Network Connectivity Fees reduced • Membership Service Packages, both full-service and basic will remain flat • The Managed Connection Fee will change to a flat annual fee of $1,700 (currently $1,900 or $1,700 in FY12) • All for-fee services will remain flat with the exception of E-mail Archiving, which is currently under review

6. FY13 REAL Program Fees • REAL Membership Service Packages fee, both full-service and basic will remain flat • The Managed Connection Fee will change to a flat annual fee of $1,700 (currently $1,900 or $1,700 in FY12) currently 100% funded by REAL • REAL funds cost of connectivity after E-rate discounts

FY13 REAL Program Fees • Network Connectivity Fee • Increasing need for bandwidth led to subsidy changes • REAL subsidize 60% for main locations • REAL subsidize 40% for branch locations - NEW • REAL Program and Routers and Maintenance • Libraries will be responsible for all future costs beginning in FY13 – NEW • MOREnet will continue to procure, configure and manage, only costs will be passed on

8. M3 Conference This Fall! • MOREnet’s Instructional Technology Conference (MITC), Connections and HELIX technical conferences and the Security Symposium will all be part of our NEW megaconference…M3 • M3 will bring together teachers, faculty, CIOs, administrators, librarians and technical staff from each of MOREnet’s member communities • Designed to accommodate attendees who want to come for just a two-day event or for the entire week
