  2. Over the course of the year we have been introduced to several reading strategies such as: • Deconstructing the text • Annotating poems • Justifying our answer choices • Breaking down test questions What strategies have we covered?

  3. Your next assignment will be to create (produce) a song/rap or a short video to help your classmates review one of the strategies. Your song/ rap must effectively incorporate: • How the strategy is used when reading a passage/ novel, etc. • How the strategy is useful to the reader • Why it is so important to practice the strategy when you read Your objective:

  4. You will present your song/ rap to the class, THURSDAY, May 12, 2011. Each group member must contribute the song AND the performance. You will be given 15-20 minutes during class Wed to produce your song/video. **LYRICS MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE!!!! Ms. Wolf’s Best Talent!!
