  1. COMMUNICATION:YOU TALKING TO US. . . US TALKING TO YOU. . .

  2. WEEKLY TEAM EMAILS Your PD (program director) is going to send a weekly email to your tutoring team: Science, Math/Business, Liberal Arts, or Writing. This email has the all the important information regarding expectations of you. So Sunday night or Monday morning, look for this email!

  3. TUTOR BOARD The weekly team email and other important notices will be posted on the Tutor Board in the Tutor Hub area, that is, the area where you pick up your folder and nametag. Read this board when you pick up your nametag! Sometimes we tell you that: There is free food in workroom! Payroll is due! A holiday is approaching! And other good things--

  4. INDIVIDUAL EMAILS AND CALLS Sometimes we need to contact you individually about a pending matter, such as: We have not heard back from you regarding a much needed response You are late for your shift/session In order to reach you promptly, we need you to: Check your campus mail once a week or direct your campus mail to feed into another email account. Update your cell number. Go to MySFA/My Services/Personal Info/ Update

  5. FOLDERS Sometimes we leave a message for you on a post-a-note or handout in your folder. So when you grab your folder to get your nametag, check to see if you have a note. And act on it immediately.

  6. CHANGE OF SCHEDULE FORM On this page: The title for this slide is in red because it is SUPER IMPORTANT! When you must change something about your schedule, as in: I need to cancel this session. I can’t work this shift. I want to schedule a two hour test review. I need a larger room for this session. I need a larger room for every session from now on. Then you must complete this on-line form called Change of Schedule Form. Look for it on the Frequently Used Links List of the Tutor Web Playbook.

  7. LAST MINUTE CHANGES If you need to change something about your schedule at the last minute, such as: I’m running late to shift/session I won’t be able to make shift/session I forgot to schedule big room and clients will be arriving soon! Then forget the change of schedule form and CALL US! Tell the Welcome Desk Staff (person who answers phone) what you need to report, and they will take it from there.
