  1. Aroused by You By Dave Caron

  2. WARNING This is graphic We will be talking about anatomy of women and men and when and how they interact We will be talking about intimacy between men and women as an example. We will be talking about why men and men doesn’t work

  3. Proverbs Proverbs 5:15-20 15. Drink water from your own cistern, and running water from your own well. 16. Should your fountains be dispersed abroad, streams of water in the streets? 17. Let them be only your own, and not for strangers with you. 18. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. 19. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love. 20. For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman, and be embraced in the arms of a seductress? This is an indication of our relationship with one another and the relationship of Him with us, His bride

  4. Parable Ps 78:2- I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, Romans 1:18-20 Parables are throughout the scripture Mat 13: 34-36 Gen 22 story of Isaac as a foreshadowing of the Lord’s sacrifice Creation is the tool for the parable—weather fishing, or sowing, or…. (John 3:12; matthew 13: 10-17)

  5. The Tabernacle

  6. Tabernacle The antecedent which must be studied prior to studying the Temple. Modeled after Sarah’s tent (increasing intimacy) Mishkan: derived from the root verb Shahkan Shakan: To let oneself down eg. Pillar of fire and cloud. It has the connotation of intimacy and dwelling Shekinah: Intimaite with Jehovah as if dweilling with him (IChron 3:21: Neh 3:29; 6:18; 12:3; Ezra 8:3,5; 10:2) Mishkan YHWH: The dwelling of the Lord Lev 17:4 Mishkan ha-’Edut: The dwelling place of the Testimony (10 commandments) Ex 38:21

  7. Alter of Sacrifice Before doing this needed to make right any wrongs between you and your brother Atonement made for sins by burnt offering Fulfilled in the sacrifice of Yeshua As we proceed into the presence of G-d we must be first cleansed of our sins We approach Him in a manner that is suitable in a repentant attitude, humble and full of joy. (Luke 18:10-14; Heb 10:19-22)

  8. Laver or The Sea/Oxen Ex 30:17-21. This was for the ceremonial washing of the priest Washing of His Word (Eph 5: 25-27) Being Washed by Him (John 13: 5-10) How do we approach Him ( Luke 7:37-38…48) Washing is important i.e. Mikveh (Num 19; Lev 15; Num 31: 19-24) See 2Chron 29 for the import of cleansing

  9. Menorah The central shaft and the center lamp are symbolic of God Himself. All light comes from Him. Tripod base- TaNaKh (Torah/Nevi im/Ketuvim or Torah/temple/Chosen people, Father/Son/Holy Spirit) Seven Flames Isaiah 11 seven spirits of God; 7 priests walked before the ark; Prov 9:1 wisdom… 7 pillars; 6 days and the central being the sabbath The light was to be a constant light signfiying eternal light and the presence of God amongst his people The priest was to light it every morning and evening John 8:12

  10. Table of Showbread 12 loaves of bread representing 12 tribes of Israel Showbread also called bread of the presence It was eaten in the holy place weakly by only the priest, b/c it was holy; and replaced it The idea of eating together is a sign of fellowship and of covenant throughout the scriptures. (John 6:47-50) In the temple this would be 10 tables

  11. Altar of Incense Incense was to be left burning continually throughout the day and night as a pleasing aroma to the Lord Aaron was to burn incense upon it both dy and night when he went to tend the lamps Symbolism of prayer unto the Lord. Ex 3:9 No strange incense, no burnt offering, or grain offering, nor drink offering. V10- once a year make an offering for atonement

  12. Veil Hebrews 9:6-12 It was his own blood spilt

  13. Ark of the Covenant 3 components inside Tablets of the 10 commandments Aaron’s Rod Manna

  14. Temple • Will study • Physical characteristics • Elements/Contents • How this relates to the womb • High Priest’s approach to entering the temple • David’s preparation IChron 22

  15. Pillars Jachin and Boaz IKing 7:15-22 and 2 Chron 3: 1-17 Jachin- def. He will establish; placed on the right Boaz- def. In Him is strength; placed on the left Both freestanding pillars without being used for structural support.

  16. Carts and Lavers 10 carts and lavers Even these were ornately designed and on chariots wheels. IKings 7:27-39 Used for rinsing the burnt offering. 2Chron 4:6

  17. Site Threshing floor of Araunah (Ornan) the Jebusite; 2 Sam 24: 14- 26 2Sam 24:14 Mercy (word study of Mercy) See John 3:3-4 How interesting that David would site the Lord’s Mercy (womb) just prior to choosing this site for the temple. Site where Abraham offerred Isaac Change from heathen worship to the worship of the One true and living God

  18. Woman’s GU Tract

  19. Two Bulbs The Bulb of the vestibule is on the outside of the vestibule Distinct/freestanding from the remainder of the vaginal structures Develops from separate structures.

  20. Insert Netter Picture here

  21. Aaron’s approach Lev 16:1-6; Ex 30: 22- 31—annointed with oil. It takes time/preparation Sacrifice for himself, his family even prior to his duty to sacrifice for his nation Took off his shoes; put on garments worthy of the task (He dressed up for the occasion) He had to learn every task of the temple—sacrificing at the brazen altar, ceremonially cleansing, trimming the candle, burning the incense, We need to do likewise. See 2 Chron 29 esp vs. 35 (set in order—word study below); also Eph 5:1-2. Can’t come at “just any time” Leviticus 16:2)

  22. Temple and Womb Parables to instruct us on our intimacy with him Repetition makes perfect Also since the 2 are so similar maybe it is a bit of instruction of how a man ought to approach his bride.

  23. Notice Altar of Sacrifice is outside the Temple which says Get right (i.e. forgiveness of sin) prior to entering Even before this you had to get right w/ your brother if there was an issue or sin between you and your brethren You think we might need to get right with our wives as husbands prior to entering Make up sex doesn’t really exist need to make up FIRST Think we might even need to do like Job (Job 1:5) who interceeded for his family

  24. Notice Pillars of Jachin and Boaz are on the outside as decoration. The bulb of the vestibule (erectile tissue) is on the outside Initimacy is not stimulation

  25. Notice Altar of Incense A sweet aroma unto the Lord Representation of continual prayer and intercession Men really aren’t suppose to stink Brush your teeth; maybe put some cologne on, shave… We ought to be praying for our brides interceding for them and our families prior to approaching them (i.e. washing them with the water of the word)

  26. Notice No spot to teach in the Temple Not going to say a word about how this relates to a man and woman

  27. Notice Aaron wasn’t permitted to enter at just any time Lev 16:2. and the Lord said to Moses: "Tell Aaron your brother not to come at simply any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat. It’s not simply role over… It actually takes time to stimulate vaginal secretions from the bartholins gland and other sources.

  28. Notice Increasing Intimacy As you enter from the Porch to the Holy Place to the Most Holy Place Increasing intimacy Vestibule to Vagina to Cervix

  29. Intimacy The temple was designed for intimacy and Mercy The female reproductive system is the same not only designed as the unique place of intimacy but also for reproduction The vagina itself has epithelium unparalled in the rest of the body

  30. Intimacy I digress Yodh- represents the figure of a hand rudely drawn. Yadah Gen 3: 7; Gen 4:1 Need to be Holy- set apart, Lev 19:2 The temple is no place for other gods—other nations would add other gods to their temples. The temple is no place for a priest of Baal 2Chronicles 29 Matthew 7:21-23 We need to be intimate with him

  31. His Sacrifice Water--- washing us with the water of His word; and the water that flowed from His side Blood– his sacrifice once and for all The veil was torn at the moment He stated it is finished Matthew 27:50-53; John

  32. Homosexuality Condemned Romans 1:16-???? Homesexuality leads to death Mortality is increased Suicidality is increased Homicidality (and brutality of such) increased

  33. Submitting Eph 5:21-33 Submission is one to another (not woman to man alone) Men should cherish the wife as his own body Men have a duty for his brides purity Women ought to Respect her husband Gen 2:18 Helper or help meet as an ezra- the Lord’s help

  34. Know Recall Hosea 2: progression from the introduction to KNOWING him. The end is Yadah. To know him as he is.

  35. What’s the Point There is an analogy here Man’s intimacy with his bride is similar to the intimacy the High Priest was to have with the Lord… and indeed the intimacy we will one day have Eloi Eloi Lama Sabacthani– My G_d My G_d Why have you (forsaken me or left me unwed)
