  3. What Is Bullying • Individual or group of individuals singles out a child and engages to do harm to that child in one form or the other. • Target Same Victim • Dominates his or her victim

  4. Who Gets Bulled • Those who lack friends • Children who seem different from the other children • Students who have Trouble commnicating with others • Children with Disabilities and Special Needs • Those who lack Friends

  5. Why do some people Bully • Increase social status • Feel the need to over power others • Makes them feel better about themselves • Maybe suffering from hidden depression • Does not know how to engage with those who may be a little different • Has developed biases/stereotypes of those who are different

  6. Signs to look For • Avoids Being Called on • Tries to get out of Social Events • Sits by himself at lunchtime or play time • Grades start to drop • Changes in Attitude/Mood • Starts missing more school
