1. Overview • Scheduler • General features: • Letters • The Letter Queue will retain its filter • The length of time a letter is considered late is now configurable • Added “Ready to Sign” status • Chart will prevent chart entries with a future date • Scanning includes a dropdown of descriptions. These dropdown values are configurable • Labels allow to select number of copies to print • FTL will only print the percentage of the discount when it’s a whole number. Will not print something like 6.66667

2. Billing & Insurance • Billing • When the Daysheet is open it will prevent other users from entering transactions. • Transfer amounts to another patient. When doing so, will use the patient ID (not patient name) in the billing description. Also, transfers don’t ask for transaction type. The program will figure it out. • Billing transactions can be generated by appointments (see File-Preferences-Procedures). These billing transactions will be generated when the patient is seated for that procedure. • The description of “Credit Total” has been changed to “Adjustment Total”. • Show Invoice Suppress flag on Aging Report. • Insurance Program • Added claim frequency of 6 months for generated claims for the monthlies • Reminders are color coded based on Ins Queue reminders and Financial reminders • Insurance forms will only show in the chart when completed. They will not appear each time they are printed • Reporting • New list for patients in treatment (without a Retain Date) • New list for patients with a New Patient procedure • Birthday report sorted by birth day of month with ability to select eligible patient statuses.

3. Letters Added a new status for “Ready to Sign” This step is between “Ready to Print” and “Ready to Sign”. If not needed, this status can be skipped

4. Scanning List of scanning descriptions Configure scanning descriptions Scanning now includes a list of scanning descriptions (first diagram). You can configure these descriptions (second diagram) or enter a special description not in the list. To change a description, you must delete and re-add.

5. FTL Display of Discount FTL will only print the percentage of the discount when it’s a whole number. Will not print something like 6.66667

7. Billing Transfers When transferring an amount … Allows transfers to another patient (finally!!!)

8. Billing from Procedures Automatically generate billing transactions from a procedure. The billing transaction will be added when the patient is seated.

9. Credit Total now Adjustment Total The description of “Adjustment Total” is more clearly labeled. Was “Credit Total” which isn’t always accurate because it could be a charge vs. a credit.

10. Statement Suppress Flag on Aging Report Shows “Y” for responsible parties with statement suppression turned on.

11. Color Code Reminders Set color of Ins Queue reminders as magenta and reminders of Financial as blue.

13. List of Active Patients Shows all patients that have started, but do not have a Retain Date. The date range applies to the contract start date.

14. List of Patients with a New Patient Appointment The “New Patient Procedure” is set in the Procedure Configuration (File-Preferences-Procedures) This report will show patients with this type of procedure for the date range provided.

15. Birthday Report Sort the birthday list by day of month Allow selection of patient statuses.
