The Intel Teach to the Future program is a global initiative designed to empower teachers by integrating technology into the classroom, ultimately improving student learning. Supported by Microsoft, this program prepares educators and students for the demands of the future. Many teachers at LHS have completed 45 hours of training and are here to assist with the implementation of tech tools in various subjects. They can guide students in creating brochures, presentations, and utilizing word processing software, enriching their research skills as well.

Your Contact! • The teachers on the previous slides are your contact persons by department. They have gone through 45 hours of training. It is their job to guide and mentor you with respect to implementing technology in your specific subject area. • Please pick up a handout on your way out that has your contact person’s name, room number, e-mail address, extension, and personal phone number.
These teachers can help our students generate brochures, power point presentations, web pages as well as teach /show them various functions of word processing programs. They can also direct our students regarding research and the world wide web.
