The Role of DSTU in TUNING RUSSIA project • implementation Bologna principles into education and university administration in Russia; • developing best practice to launch the two/three cycle system in RF educational system; • promotion of Tuning principles into the Russian universities activities; • setting up Tuning centers as providers of internationalization and modernization of higher professional education.

  8. Role of DSTU in TUNING RUSSIA project • Promotion and dissemination of Tuning methodology among Russian academic community in the field of Tourism and Ecology • Piloting Tuning methodology and tools for Tourism and Ecology cluster throughout Russian universities

WP.1 DevelopmentDefinition, consultation and validation of Generic and Subject Specific Competences Don State Technical University: • participates actively in the process of identification of generic and subject specific competences; • leads consultation process at university, local and/or regional level (academics, students, graduates and employers); • participates in validation process activities.

WP.2 DevelopmentSetting up Tuning Centers (TC) at Russian universities Don State Technical University: • training mission; • strategy creation of Tuning Centre according to business and university resources DSTU demands: - 4 PCs/laptops - Software - video conference tools and devices - 2 printers - 1 scanner - 1 fax machine

  11. WP.3 DevelopmentPreparation of human resources at high quality level for Tuning Centers Don State Technical University: • selecting and ranging candidates; • managing candidates training abroad.

  12. WP.4 DevelopmentElaboration and running training programmes and courses at Tuning Centers Don State Technical University: • courses selection; • courses creation and development; • training courses launching.

WP.5 Quality plan courses quality Assessment Don State Technical University: • provides the evaluating peer institution with the training designs respecting the procedures and deadlines agreed upon among the Russian partner universities; • renewing and exchanging with partner HEIs; • final evaluating .

  14. WP.6 Dissemination Dissemination of the project's outcomes Don State Technical University: • web-site and paper publications; • project promoting in available networks; • monitoring and managing project outcomes.

WP.7 ExploitationEnsuring sustainability Don State Technical University: • disseminates Tuning know-how to regional HEI; • manages promotion Tuning know-how through round tables, incentives and workshops; • organizes and hosts the "Bologna and Tuning: Students' Perspective" events; • popularizes TC ideas and activities.

  16. Key persons Svetlana Shvedova PhD, associate professor, the chief of the International board. Has great research experience in the field of business-oriented and in-company education, students' mobility and cross-cultural communication in terms of global labour market. Her research papers are devoted to the main trends of international education and professional competences and capacities development. The legal representative in Russia for ALEXNOVA-ICUR/International Company for University Relationships (Spain-E.U.). Successfully participated in the workshops "Tuning methodology“. The concept creator of Bologna Club in Russia. Irina Maevskaya PhD, associate professor, the vice-chief of the International board. Has great research experience in the field of increasing students professional mobility in terms of global labour market changing and flexibility. Her research papers are devoted to the main trends of knowledge society development. Has successfully completed the programme of the training course "Basic principles of tutoring in distance education" organized by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, successfully participated in the workshops "Tuning methodology“ The executive manager of Bologna Club in Russia.
