Haley was the second black law student to graduate from UA. He arrived at the School of Law in 1949, after graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. A senator, attorney and civil rights activist, Ambassador Haley holds a long list of accomplishments. He served in the administrations of Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush. He knows his family history all the way back to his great-great-great-great grandfather, Kunta Kinte, whose life is depicted in the novel 'Roots', written by his brother, Pulitzer Prize winning author Alex Haley. ____________Keynote Speaker____________ Ambassador George W.B.Haley, Esq. 10 AM FEBRUARY 11 APS Auditorium Building 402 Refreshments will be served
