HIGHER MISSION III CORPS: Mission: III Corps defends 020300D March 2014 to defeat Arianan military forces in AO in order to prevent penetration of the Kura River and to deny access to the BTC Pipeline; conducts stability and support operations with the population within the AO in order to assure public support and a safe base from which to attack; on order, attacks to neutralize Arianan military forces in AO to restore the international border; conducts post combat stability operations and redeploys to home station. • 13th ESC: • Mission: On 14 APR 2014, the 13 ESC provides sustainment support to III Corps and Coalition Forces (CF) operating in the Caspian Sea Region to provide echelon support forward and establish a Theater Distribution Center. • Intent: To provide timely sustainment support that ensures the tactical flexibility of CJFLCC forces during the rapid build-up of forces and enhances the TF ability to conduct decisive operations IOT assist the Atropian government. Additionally, the intent of this operation is to quickly restore stability to Atropia in order that the Caspian Sea Federation can continue its goal of stability in the Eurasia region.

MISSION 501ST SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE: On order, 501st Sustainment Brigade executes theater distribution, receipt, storage and issue of all classes of supply by operating the SPOD and APOD from ISB Lion, ISB Giant, and theater distribution to LSA Wabash in support of Operation Caspian-Hope NLT D-20.

  11. COMMANDER’S INTENT The intent of this operation is to conduct support operations from the SPOD and APOD up to ISB Wabash. The 501st will ensure seamless distribution of all classes of supply and efficient accountability within an effective period of time to support Operation Caspian-Hope.

Concept of Support:501st SUST BDE will operate commodity supply points and provide unit and throughput distribution of all classes of supply less VIII utilizing organic and host nation infrastructure capability. 553rd CSSB will receive and prepare supplies and equipment for onward movement at ISB Lion. 345th CSSB will receive supplies and equipment at ISB Giant and will further distribute throughout theater. 345th CSSB will establish a Forward Logistics Element (FLE) at LSA Wabash to facilitate unit distribution to 43rd SUST BDE and throughput support to committed divisions.   20. Concept Of Support: • 501 SB responsible for theater sustainment operations. 501 SB CL I / Water requirements will be supplied by Host Nation (HN) truck assets from ISB Lion to ISB Giant.   21. CL II (OCIE) / CL IV Concept: Directs the receipt, storage, and distribution of Class II/IV supplies within the AO through all phases of the operation. Requirements: • CL II • Every Soldier will have two sets of JSLIST. • - One on hand • - One maintained at each • SUS BDE • SUS BDEs will stock decontamination supplies • Issue as space available • CL IV • MCL’s maintained at ISB Giant. • Sust BDE’s request in order to build stock at their respective BSAs at Phase II • Emergency issue via throughput as far forward as possible to requesting units. • Capabilities: • Stock • CL II: 7 DOS • CL IV: 4 DOS • Equipment (445 Trans) • PLS: 60 • PLS Trailer: 60 • CROP: 360 • Forklifts: 12 Shortfall: CL II and CL IV are lowest supply priority, therefore, distribution may only be limited to emergency throughput only. Mitigations: Units must make timely requests to receive supplies. CL II will be distributed as space available.

CL III (B) & (P) • Concept: • - Priority of Support: 4ID, 3ID, 214 Fires Brigade • - All maneuver units will depart with UBL, and BDE support units will depart with 2d and 3d combat loads from ISB Lion. • CL III(B) will be pushed from ISB Lion to ISB Giant and LSA Wabash via rail and truck. • The 501st SB FLE located at LSA Wabash will distribute CL III (B) to 43d SB. • CL III(P) MCL will be requested 72hrs prior by the requesting unit. • Mission Considerations: • - Enemy in AO • - Distance to resupply maneuver units • - Rate of march • - Secondary/ cross-country roads utilized by maneuver units • - Tactical pauses • - Fueler convoy composition • - Complete Offensive Operations with 60% of CLIII (B) ready for follow-on missions MCL: CL III (P) STORAGE CAPABILITY DISTRIBUTION CAPABILITY CL III (B) RQMT

Each FSC has on hand a second load of critical munitions for their battalions, and the BSB has a third combat load of critical munitions (ATHP Wabash and ATHP Meade). • PH II: Total consumption of CL V is estimated at less than 400 ST. Resupply during PH II will only be conducted on an emergency basis. All ATHPs forward of ASA Giant will be at 100% prior to decisive operations. • PH III: Units will begin stability operations and CL V will be filled on a request basis. No shortfalls exist in storage capacity at either ASA. 2. Possible issue resupplying CSR during phase II.. 3. Total projected Consumption of CL V for Phase II is 10% of ATHP Wabash storage capability ATHP Wabash 4ID ATHP Meade 3ID

  24. CL VII • Concept: Limited Class VII items are expected to be shipped into theater. The battle loss report will represent a requisition. Non-battle loss reportable items should be reported under “other class VII” LOGSTAT report. This also constitutes a requisition. • Class VII items, other than controlled items will be managed and issued using normal supply channels via Property Book Unit Supply (PBUSE). • PH I : Ready to Fight Stock will railed to 345th CSSB from 553 CSSB. 345th CSSB will maintain stock at ISB Giant. • PH II: BSB SPO will coordinate with CSSB IOT request items to prepositioned locations on the battlefield. Priority of support is 4ID, 3ID, III Corps Aviation. • PH III: Priority of support is to 4 ID, 3 ID, and III Corps’ Aviation, in order.
