My roleas astudent Itookclassesin CriminalJusticeandPoliticalScience IwaspartofTheDelta SigmaPhiFraternity andhungoutwithotherorganizations. Ilivedinaregular dormandhada suitemateandIdid internships.

Class andAcademicSupport SysteminCollege EducationCoachispartoftheLENDProgramand checksin on theclassand makes sureyouaredoingwellontheassignment. MentorsmakesureLEND andclassesaregoing well andthatgoals arebeing met. WCU Support LEND Support AcademicLiaison would makesureall wasgoing wellinclass Classsupportscouldbea studentin classorUP Support Supportsweremorethen supportsfriendsaswell. Youwouldmeet upforclassworkandassignmentsandpostwhatwasgoing onsitecalledBlackboard

My classesthatI took mylast semester. CriminalLaw,criminaljusticeclass AmericanGovernmentandPolitics PoliticsofAsia300 ItookcriminallawbecauseIlikedlearningaboutthelaw.Istillwanttoworkinalaw firmasaparalegallegal. ItookAmericanGovernmentandpolitics soIcanfurthermyknowledgeinthatarea. ItookPoliticsofAsiabecauseIlovethe cultureandwantedtolearnmoreaboutit.

  9. ClubsandOrganizationsI was involvedin Internationalstudies club ASA(AsianStudent Association) DiversityCommittee DeltaSigmaPhi fraternity

  10. WorkingwithVolunteers Thevolunteerswenttoclass and helpedwithtakingnotes and makingremindersfor homeworkorchapterstoreadfor UPparticipants. Activeleisure timelikewalkingor goingto the gym,orto the pool. Wehad craft nights. Wedidfunstufflikethrowing birthdayparties and holiday ones. Atetogether during breakfast,lunch and dinner.

  11. Graduation classof2014 WhenIwasinmyfirstsemesteratWesternCarolinatheUPParticipantshadtohaveaseparategraduationceremonybutthat all changedafterthestudentbodypetitionedthe campusandnowwecanjoinin theWCU graduation

Whyinclusionmatters Socialinclusionintheschoolsystems,communityandpost- secondaryeducationmattersbecausethiscanhelpallpeople learnandgrow,developandgain determination. Whenpeoplewithdisabilitiesareputinself-containedsettingsthe lesslikelytheyaretogrowandhave self-confidenceinthemselves.There isnoroominthosesettingstolearnfrommistakes.
