  5. Causes of Water Pollutions The major cause of water pollution is sewage. This sewage include the heavy chemical and heavy metals from industries and municipal wastewater, plastics and garbage. Due to which water become toxic.

  6. What Can You Do to Prevent Water Pollution? To Prevent the water pollution we may take steps: • Reduce the use of plastics • Treat the sewage water before discharge in to water body • Proper disposal of chemical cleaners oils and non bio degradable items. • Reduce the use fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides.
