  2. Virus A virus is a biological agent that reproduce in the cells of a living organism. Whilst in the cell they force it to make identical copies of the original copies of the virus

  3. HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system. It shuts down the systems that help protect us against other diseases.

  4. Aids stands for acquired immune deficiency syndrome. HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus.

  5. HIV can be transmitted through semen, blood, vaginal and anal fluids, and breastmilk. HIV can’t be transmitted through sweat, saliva, and urine.

  6. How does it take to long it develops When you get HIV it will take about 6 months to fully contract it. The antibodies for it will be produced 2-12 weeks after that.

  7. If HIV is not treated or left unsupervised for to long it will turn into AIDS. But some people take antiretroviral treatments to help live longer more fulfilling lives.

  8. This is how you contract HIV. • Intercoarse without a condom. • An infected persons bodily fluids entering your system. • Mother can give to children by birth. • Using dirty needles during injections. • Mothers Breastfeeding babies. • Sitting on a contaminated toilet.

  9. How many have it • An estimated 70 million people have AIDS and HIV in the whole world. 43 million are still living to this day. About

  10. The prevention of HIV • Do not share needles. • Make sure you have safe protected intercourse. • Get frequent vaccinations.

  11. Death count Worldwide about 39 million people have died from HIV and AIDS. 658,507 people have died from AIDS and HIV in the U.S.

  12. The first case. The first reported case of AIDS in Nigeria was found in a 13-year-old girl in 1986. She some how contracted the disease and spread it from giving birth to her children.

  13. First U.S. case In 1980 April,24 Ken horne from San Fransisco was the first person in the U.S. to have AIDS.

  15. Overall • You should watch out anywhere and everywhere and be safe. AIDS kills so prevent it all you can. A lot of people die from it and it is very easily contracted. It is dangerous so avoid it all you can.
