Selection Criteria SCHOOL LEAVERS • Final Gr 11 results • Health Science Placement Test • Value Added Quationnaire(Biographical information to indicate extracurricular activities regarding leadership roles, sport and cultural participation and community involvement) The marks achieved in the above-mentioned criteria are used to calculate a (SRI) Selection Ranking Index. The Selection Ranking Index(SRI) is ranked from the highest mark to the lowest. Provisional Selection is done by selecting the best academic achievers according to their SRI mark. To retain provisional selection the Admission Point Score of the candidate may not drop with more than 3 points. They must also maintain a rating code of at least 5 in the two languages, Mathematics, Physical Sciences and other 2 subjects.

HSC Test compulsory • Dates 5 June and 17 July 2010 • Write test once at any of the venues allocated • Value added Questionnaire applies to all programmes except BOH – Selection is based on academic merit (Final Gr11 or 12 results or University results) • Physiotherapy and Radiography students must visit a registered practice and submit proof thereof attach to VAQ • Only students who comply with the minimum requirements will be informed to write the test and will receive a VAQ from
