  4. Find appropriate visuals • Make slides: Find appropriate visual material Use not more than 12 slides Not too much text in the slides • Rehearse your presentation • Be sure that it takes not more than 5 minutes

  5. Give your presentation The structure of your presentation • Opening • Main body • Closing • Feedback • Ending

  6. Opening techniques Greet the audience, present yourselves and the topic • Use visuals, music Look at this/ listen… How does it make you feel? • Tell a joke • Ask a rhetorical question Main body • Present the content (according to your plan) Use: to begin with… / Firstly/ Secondly…

When you finish writing your presentation, make sure you: • introduce yourself and the topic • mention all the points from the given plan • use appropriate opening/closing / feedback techniques • use visual materials; • do not write much in the slides • rehearse your presentation • each of you speak (no reading)
