  2. What is cubism • It was a revolutaionary modern art style. It was developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. It evolved at the beginning of the 20th century. • It allows the artist to see real life objects in a different way

  3. Pablo Picasso • Pablo Picasso was the first artist to use cubism in his artwork along with another artist called Georges Braque Pablo Picasso was from Spain but spent most of his life in France.

  4. What inspired Pablo Picasso • http://pablo-picasso.paintings.name/ • Pablo Picasso was inspired by the African cultures and their art. The way they did art and how they lived is what started cubism. • I did not like this type of art at first because it never made sense to me. But now I understand it, I am starting to like it. Although I still prefer realistic art.

  5. How it it different to earlier art • It is different to earlier realistic art because, instead of painting it from one angle/perspective. The artist will look at it from every angle possible and paint the different views together not where they are meant to be. It is not meant to be realistic at all. • A realistic painting would be looked at from just one perspective and painted normally. • This is the difference between the two.
