  2. Data Protection notice When discussing members of the public, all agencies and individuals will agree to respect their confidentiality. The disclosure of information outside this meeting, should not occur unless there is a legal basis for a disclosure.

  3. PACT Priorities • Nuisance parking outside Primary School, Wingfield Road, Coleshill (agreed 20 targeted patrols) • Speeding Common Lane, Corley (agreed 10 targeted patrols) • Speeding in Birmingham Road, Ansley (agreed 10 speed checks)

  4. Community Priorities • Warwickshire Police is obliged to protect communities from harm in line with the ‘Police Priorities’. • This may mean that in exceptional circumstances SNT officers may be required to work on other policing priorities. • If this happens there will be a need to re-negotiate priorities. This will be done in liaison with the Chair and the panel.

  5. You asked us:- • To do something about the off road motor cycles on Hill Top, Arley – we • patrolled the area on a regular basis • saw no off road bikes or offenders on road • contacted 2 people who had been informed on • Work with NWBC and WCC to gather information relating to offenders and deal appropriately

  6. Parking vehicles outside Primary School, Coleshill • Target of 20 patrols – achieved 21 + • Previous ¼ 15 incidents reported, this ¼ 8 calls • sent advisory letter to parents via school • contacted keepers of vehicles reported to us • issued 2 fixed penalty tickets • advised parents and grandparents at the school

  7. Speeding, Common Lane, Corley • Target of 10 patrols – achieved 10 • Previous ¼ 2 reports and last ¼ 0 reports • 4 motorists advised/verbal warning • 1 written caution • 1 fixed penalty ticket

  8. Speeding in Birmingham Road, Ansley • Target of 10 speed checks - achieved 11 • Previous ¼ there was 1 report of speeding vehicles ¼ 0 reports • 4 motorists given verbal advice • Issued 8 cautions • Issued 4 fixed penalty tickets

CHANGES FROM MAY 2011 – to reiterate • WPC 86 Ellen BEATY ‘ Beat Manager’ will be responsible for the day to day Policing of the forum area. • PCSO’s to carry out much the same role as present. • There will be limited SNT responsibility for investigating crimes or attending incidents. Incident response will be provided by teams based at Bedworth and Rugby. • All investigations will be conducted by investigation teams based at the Criminal Justice Centre (CJC) Nuneaton.

  12. Coleshill DPPO • Consultation on the proposed Designated Public Places Order for Coleshill town centre • Consultation results show clear support from local residents • 416 responses 97% agreed with the proposal • 14 responses 3% didn’t agree

  13. Coleshill DPPO • Safer Communities Sub Committee 24 January 13 agreed to implement the DPPO as a pilot for 12 months • Coverage extended to include Cole End Park and Lichfield Road • Aim to implement for April 13 • 2 Nomad 3g mobile cctv cameras deployed on the high street

North Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership • Vehicle Crime responses • 160 crime prevention packs were sent to all owners of BMW Minis in the Coleshill area • Informing them of an emerging crime trend of theft of wing mirrors • 7 people have signed up to Police messages and 2 phone calls received wanting further advice

North Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership • Strategic Assessment 2013/14 draft priorities to be considered by the partnership • Violent Crime – with a focus on town centre alcohol related violence, domestic related violence and older people as victims of crime. Offender management to concentrate on young people as offenders

North Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership • Anti Social Behaviour – with a focus on alcohol and youth related • Serious Acquisitive Crime – with a focus on domestic burglary and to maintain cross border offender management • Reducing Reoffending – to prioritise the offenders of domestic burglary and vehicle crime
