This is true in the education industry all over the world. Various institutions and colleges in the country are utilizing artificial intelligence in education. The application of AI in the field of education has provided instructors, students, parents, and, of course, educational institutions with an entire upper hand in looking at education. This has shown to be particularly beneficial in pandemics, preventing schooling from being halted. There are different kinds of roles played by the AI in the aforesaid field as follows – · Personalized Education - The goal of using AI in education is not to replace instructors, but to assist them in identifying the potential and limits of each student. The employment of artificial intelligence in classrooms makes things easier and more convenient for both instructors and pupils. Teachers may create a personalized study plan for each student by first knowing their needs. · Automation of routine administrative tasks - Automation of administrative tasks allows teachers to spend more time with pupils, making the learning process more efficient. Teachers devote a significant amount of time to administrative tasks such as grading and assessing worksheets. AI in education can assist in automating the grading and evaluation of activities like multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, and so on. Another time-consuming and labor-intensive

The use of AI in classrooms may show teachers how to enhance the instructions they provide their pupils, as well as how to make learning more entertaining and participatory. Students benefit from immediate feedback because it helps them understand where they are going wrong and how they can improve. · High Accessibility - The use of AI in the classroom makes learning more accessible to all pupils. AI in education is a blessing in disguise for kids who are slow learners or are unable to attend school due to illness or injury, as well as pupils who live in remote places. The application of artificial intelligence in education aids in the removal of geographical barriers to learning. Through the application of artificial intelligence in education, students from all over the globe may study from the finest teachers. As it can be seen that AI has contributed a lot in the sector of education and has helped to increase literacy rates across the world. But, every cloud has a silver lining, AI does cause some issues as mentioned below- · Human Interaction Is Declining - One significant downside is that students miss the chance to practice and gain social skills since they are not exposed to real people during class. This makes it difficult for them when they leave school and require these sorts of contacts on the job or even socially as adults. · Unemployment among Teachers - Another downside of employing AI in education is that instructors may lose their employment. Because these programs let students study on their own, human instructors are no longer required to supervise students during classes or grade tasks. · Financial Issues - Artificial intelligence is created by highly educated scientists, who require investment and funding to continue their studies as well as to compensate personnel who work on the projects with them. When acquiring hardware and software that can support AI capabilities such as face recognition or natural language processing tools, there will be a requirement to cover high expenditures, making it very difficult for educational systems with little funds to adopt these technologies.
