  4. 1) We Recharge Our Time As a Precious Resource- Rom 13:11-12 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, & let us put on the armor of light

  5. While we recycle many of our natural resources- man cannot recycle his time. God has given us time as a way to mark our lives, but not to control our lives.

  6. Making good use of time recognizes it as a gift from God & good stewardship of the life God has given us.

  7. Psalm 90 12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

  8. Eternity is long, but making the life to lead you into eternity is preciously short

  9. Do I see my time in light of how much I have spent/wasted or how much I have left to make a life for eternity?

  10. 2) We Recharge Our Time to Make Our Days Profitable- Eph 5:15-18 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

  11. 2) We Recharge Our Time to Make Our Days Profitable- Eph 5:15-18 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit..

  12. Left to their own, our days trend toward evil, therefore we must choose to renew each day to use it profitably.

  13. I Timothy 6 18 Tell them to do good, to do a lot of good things, to be generous, & to share. GWT

  14. I Timothy 6 19 By doing this they store up a treasure for themselves which is a good foundation for the future. In this way they take hold of what life really is. GWT

  15. Do I make my days profitable or am I just marking the days as they go by?

  16. 3) We Recharge Our Time to Take Hold of Opportunity- Luke 19:41-44 41 Now as He drew near, He saw the city & wept over it,

  17. 3) We Recharge Our Time to Take Hold of Opportunity- Luke 19:41-44 42 saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

  18. 3) We Recharge Our Time to Take Hold of Opportunity- Luke 19:41-44 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you & close you in on every side,

  19. 3) We Recharge Our Time to Take Hold of Opportunity- Luke 19:41-44 44 & level you, & your children within you, to the ground; & they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

  20. 3) We Recharge Our Time to Take Hold of Opportunity- Luke 19:41-44 Time is opportunity when we believe that God is working in us and around us.
