  1. The Moon By: Caysen Hester Marcus Limbrick Jahlil Lowe

  2. Size • Moons diameter:3474.8 Kilometers • Earths Diameter:127,22 Kilometers The moons diameter in relation to earth is roughly ¼ Km

  3. General color & Unique Features • The Moon is Portrayed to be gray and white • It also has layers like earth which include the • The Moon doesn't have a significant atmosphere. • The lunar surface is heavily cratered • Doesn't contain any plate tectonics unlike earth • Has no liquid water

  4. Rotation and Revolution • The moon rotates at 655.728 hours. Much slower than Earth and Mars. • It takes about 27.5 days for the moon to complete a revolution, But takes about another 2 Days to complete its Lunar cycle.

  5. Density • The density of the Moon is 3.346 g/cm3. The Moon is actually the second densest moon in the Solar System • The density of Earth is 5.52 g/cm3. This makes it the densest planet in the Solar System. The density of Io is 3.53 g/cm3.

  6. Gravity • Moons:1.622 m/s² • moon's gravity is much less than the earth's gravity, 83.3% (or 5/6) less

  7. Atmosphere Composition • The atmosphere is considered an exosphere, it is made of a thin layers of gases.

  8. Surface Composition • The moons composition is rocky • Craters are made by asteroid impacts • Primary elements 43% Oxygen, 20% Silicon, 19% Magnesium.

  9. Interior Composition • Moons interior density is 3,346 kilogram per meter cubed • Moons primary elements are the same as the surface composition but 6% Sulfur

  10. Magnetic Field • In theory the moons magnetism is Geodynamic • (A theory that earth creates a magnetic field)

  11. Conclusion • In conclusion the Moons diameter:3474.8 Kilometers • The color is portrayed to be gray • The moon rotates at 655.728 hours • The density of the Moon is 3.346 g/cm3 • Moons Gravity:1.622 m/s² • Geodynamic • Craters are made by asteroid impacts • interior density is 3,346 kilogram per meter cubed
