  2. 9th Grade Choices • Earth/Space/Environmental (Year Long) • Recommended for most 9th grade students

  3. If you answer “yes” to all the following questions, consider enrolling in Biology • Will you be in Algebra II as a freshman? • Are you planning to take 4 years of science including Physics and AP classes? • Are you mature and self- motivated concerning homework ? • Do you have excellent reading skills? • Have you enjoyed and received high marks in all your previous science classes?

  4. 3 years of Science are required for graduation. • If a student completes Earth/Space/Environmental Science their 9th grade year, they enroll in Biology for their 10th grade year. • If a student completes Biology their 9th grade year, they enroll in Chemistry their 10th grade year.

  5. There are many course choices available the 11th and 12th grade years. • It is recommended that students who are college bound take Chemistry and Physics. • Global Science and ChemCom are available as year long classes. • AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science and AP Physics-year long electives.

  6. Semester electives include: • Anatomy and Physiology • Aquatic Biology • Astronomy • Forensics • Geology • Zoology
