  2. Like people, animals have homes as well! In this Web quest we are going to explore the different kinds of habitats, learn what types of animals live there, and understand why each one is unique! homepageSlide 1

  3. Task In this Web Quest students will travel through the internet and visit many different kinds of habitats! They will visits forests, deserts, the arctic, oceans, and ponds. The students will be asked to complete a number of different procedures regarding each habitat! Each day we will visit a new habitat and learn about the different kinds of plants and animals that live there! homepageTask

  9. Evaluation Write a story about a trip you might take to one of the habitats we just visited on this web quest. How would you get there? Who would you go with? Describe in your story what you would see, hear, and do. Write about how you might feel when you get there. Remember, a story had a beginning, middle, and end.   11. Conclusion Wow! That was an amazing journey through all of the different kinds of habitats! It was very exciting to see where many different kinds of plants and animals live. It was fun to see that plants and animals have a home just like me! homepage

  12. Teacher Page The second grade class will be completing a science web quest. It will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. A majority of the webquest will be complete in school, with the help of the teacher and teaching assistants. Some of the web quest will be assigned for homework and may require some parental assistance. This assignment includes cross curricular activities and many different New York State learning standards. This will be a fun learning experience for everyone.
