  1. When we think of the American Revolution who comes to mind? People like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Paul Revere. We think of these men as heroes risking their lives for the Patriotic cause. Most of you know that men of all ages served as soldiers during the Revolutionary War. Have you ever wondered who did the work that the absent men normally did? Throughout the American Revolution, women had important roles for the American cause. Women acted as political figureheads, writers, nurses, spies, and even soldiers. The contributions of these women were invaluable and, without their efforts, the Revolutionary War could not have been won. This WebQuestwill introduce you to important women of the American Revolution. You will research about the women and Chose a way to demonstrate your knowledge of your chosen American Hero.
