  2. Tropism • Tropism- when a plant grows or moves toward an environmental stimulus

  3. Phototropism • Phototropism- when stems and leaves grow toward the light source

  4. Flowers and leaves grow toward the Sun because of phototropism.

  6. Gravitropism • Gravitropism can also be called geotropism. • It is when stems grow upward and roots grow downward.

  7. Gravitropism • Roots show positivegravitropism because they grow in the same direction as the gravitational pull. • Stems show negativegravitropism because they grow in the opposite direction as the gravitational pull.
