Online grant system/ Call Centre • Call center service to be purchased – currently reviewing proposals • First point of contact for stakeholders • To support SDF’s with the following queries • Grants/levies/financials • Inter SETA transfers • SDF registration, WSP’s and Implementation Report • Implementation soon

SDF Training • SDF’s requested training intervention to help and support them • ISETT to provide this training at two levels: • In partnership with UWC as a qualification • NQF5 Diploma over 12 months • In partnership with another service provider on 3 day workshops to be held throughout the country • Address unit standards on SDF functions • To be implemented soon
ACHIEVEMENTS!!! • Completed International benchmarking study • Completed careers guide • Completed SMME needs analysis survey • Collection of labour market statistics • Maths and Science and Computer literacy projects • KZN –PMB ( 120 Learners) • VENDA (1000 learners) • Eastern Cape ( 150 learners)
ACHIEVEMENTS!!! • ISETT Mobile built in WC to be deployed in EC • Research survey on SMME needs completed and culminated in support to 23 SMME’s to comply in order to qualify for pilot training project • SDF Qualification delivered in conjunction with UWC to 50 SDF’s (WC,Gauteng,KZN)
ACHIEVEMENTS!!! • 90 Independent SDF’s appointed throughout the country ( responsible for 400 new companies participating) • Increased participation of companies by 260%
Ongoing new projects • SMME Training programme (23 Piloted) • Training for disabled and unemployed youth in NP (In conjunction with IBM ACE) • Java, C++,VB,etc) • Training programme for unemployed youth in NC • Training for 24 youths in software development and database systems • Maths, Science and computer literacy – Soweto • SDF 3 day training workshops to commence
