Don’t’ forget to please send a count with your child to school to let the cafeteria know of any extra visitors that day. The cafeteria has asked that visitor numbers be turned in by Monday, November 12th You can email me your count. Primary Musical Our Primary Musical, “Bugz!” will be held on November 19th @ 6:30. Our class will be in the chorus. They will need to be in our classroom at 6:00 that evening. They should wear a solid shirt and blue jeans. Dress rehearsal will be held at 2:15 on the day of the performance. If you would like to help out with costumes, props, or backgrounds please contact Andrea Nance. Mrs. Kerr’s Friday NotesNovember 9th, 2012 Briarwood Food Drive As the holidays are approaching, we are collecting items to prepare food baskets for our very own Briarwood families in need. First graders are asked to bring in canned or bottled juices and canned meats. Or you can donate a dollar for us to purchase turkeys for these baskets! Congrats: Marrylane was our blue slip winner this week. BUY A FEATHER Students may purchase a feather to be displayed on our large turkey in our main hallway. This money will be used to buy items for Thanksgiving food baskets. The primary class that collects the most turkey feathers will win a special treat. You can purchase feathers for $1.00. CHRISTMAS CARDS: Don’t forget to make Christmas cards for our soldiers.
