  2. United States of America. Educational Needs: With the many changes in medicine and urology almost daily, it is imperative that the practicing urologist remains on the cutting edge. Urologists need to keep current on assessing, diagnosing, and treating urologic conditions in the clinical setting. This meeting will provide an update in the ?eld of urologic cancers, stone disease, urologic reconstruction, female urology, infertility, emerging surgical techniques, and in general urology. Learning Objectives: • Understand the surgical indications for ureteral stones. • Identify patients best treated with conservative management. • Evaluate the best surgical approach to renal stones. • Understand the complications associated with surgical intervention of ureteral and renal calculi. • Learn the concepts of image registration, segmentation and fusion. • Understand the implications of target biopsy. • Learn the limitations of fusion biopsy. • Understand the role of judgment and skill in patient outcome. • Learn the bene?ts of robotic technology on surgical performance. • Explore the role of machine learning in medical practice. • Understand the natural history of upper tract urothelial tumors. • Explore the role of expectant management of upper tract urothelial tumors. • Understand that not all small renal masses have the same malignant potential. • Understand the correlation between size and adverse pathological features. • To better understand the interactions of the central nervous system with the development and maintenance of interstitial cystitis and other chronic pelvic pain disorders and discuss centrally acting therapies that may help patients suffering from these disorders. • Cell based therapies aim at restoring function. • To evaluate the state of cell based therapies for the treatment of pelvic ?oor disorders. • To summarize our current knowledge of predictors of success and/or complications for available surgical techniques and de?ne which techniques may bene?t which type of patients. • To discuss what is known regarding de novo recurrent UTI in the setting of mesh implants and the role of implant bacterial colonization and/or host reaction. • To review the AUA/SUFU Guideline for the surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI). • Understand current paucity in IPP literature and review studies that attempt to address this paucity. • Demonstrate the correlation between cardiac pathology and erectile function, ejaculatory function, testosterone levels and lower urinary tract symptoms.   3. • Understand the corollary relationship between vascular disease and its treatment to ED. • Understand the controversies for which men with low T merit treatment. • Provide a rationale for treatment of men with priapism of long duration or failed initial procedures. • Identify the frequency of BNC. • Identify the etiology of BNC. • Identify treatment strategies to BNC. • Understand the role of endoscopic management. • Understand the role of bladder neck reconstruction with buccal mucosa. • Understand the risks and bene?ts of surgery for BNC. • Provide the audience with the tools to successfully navigate federal and state regulatory and reimbursement policy for APPs. • Provide the audience with the tools to effectively train APPs for both inpatient and outpatient practice. • Provide the audience with the tools to establish benchmarks for APP productivity and ?nancial success. • Provide the audience with evidence based guidelines and expert opinion for appropriate endoscopic and surgical management of urethral stricture. • Review the evidence and provide the best treatment algorithms for primary bladder neck contracture, recalcitrant bladder neck contracture, and concomitant bladder neck contracture and urinary incontinence. • Discuss treatment strategies for medical and surgical management of this disease. • Review the evidence focused on outcomes following urethroplasty as related to 1) lower urinary tract symptoms 2) sexual function and 3) overall QOL. • To provide a critical overview of the risks and bene?ts of expanding the indications of elective nephron sparing surgery to large renal masses by analyzing the most recent literature. • To give an update on the most recent advances in the ?eld of robotic surgery as new robotic systems might soon became available for clinical use in Urology. • To analyze the evidence supporting the current role of cytoreductive surgery the management of advanced kidney cancer and to identify the patients who might still bene?t from it in the era of target therapies. • To provide an evidence based guide on the current role of surgery in the management of locally advanced and oligometastatic prostate cancer. • To critically look at the latest guidelines for the management of localized prostate cancer and to offer a practical approach for their implementation.
