  5. An Area Convention is an opportunity to: • Rekindle Friendships • Learn more about the Y Service Club Movement • Meet New Members • Attend your Region’s Meeting

  6. Enjoy: Forums Speakers History Entertainment Friendships

  7. How to Register-For the Convention • Go to www.ysmenusa.com and click on the Registration Button for the 2011 US Area Convention or contact your Club President for a registration form.

  8. Complete the registration form and return it with a $50.00 per person deposit or full payment of $285.00 per person. Make checks payable to Mid America Region Y’s Men. • Registration deadline is June 20, 2011. Late registrations will be accepted with a fee of $15.00 per person.

  9. Hotel Accommodations • To make a hotel reservation, contact the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) at 314-231-7220 or www.mac-stl.org • $80.00 per night-single, double or king plus tax. $10.00 per day for in/out garage parking.

  11. This year’s convention offers a Youth Convocation. • Theme: Winning the Future • July 8 – 9 • Tours of local science research companies, a nuclear waste site, electric car display and service to the St. Louis Community • Accommodations at the Carondelet Y Rec Plex • Visit the City Mueseum

  12. Registration includes meals, housing, transportation between venues, entertainment and staff. • Open to youth ages 15 – 20 • Space is limited. • See the flyer for the convocation on the US Area website.

How to Register for the Convocation. • Go to www.ysmenusa.com and click on the Registration button for the 2011 Youth Convocation or contact your Club President for a registration form. • Complete the registration form & return it with a $50.00 per participant deposit by May 1st or full payment of $175.00 per participant by June 1st. Make checks payable to Mid America Region Y’s Men.

  14. Can’t Attend the Convention • Why not sponsor a member from your club if you can’t attend this year’s convention. • Why not sponsor a youth for the Youth Convocation. • It would be a way to Pay it forward!
