What is the Work-related module? • A project for a real-world employer • Integrate academic learning with skills required in the workplace • Increase your knowledge and understanding of IT skills • Demonstrate that you are able to use these skills to meet a real business need • Develop communication and project management skills • Integrates PDP

  4. How do I find a project? • Volunteer with our partner organisation Voluntary Action Camden • Set up your own project with your employer or an organisation you know • A few projects may be available from the tutor

  5. Learning Agreement • Complete before starting your project • An agreement between you, the College and the employer • A road-map for your project • Learning outcomes • Project description • Project plan

  6. Timetable 2008/09 Individual 30-minute bookable tutorial sessions Monday 6-9pm during Spring Term. * Particularly for students doing VAC website projects but all welcome to attend ** Presentations for VAC projects will take place at VAC offices in Kentish Town. Date/time tbc + Other students will be allocated a slot on one of these dates for the end of module presentation. Individual timings to be confirmed nearer the date.
