  1. PD360 Training Monday, February 4th

  2. Logging In Your username is your school email address. Your password is PD360, unless you recently changed it.

  3. The Deck • The Deck is an easy way to see what's going on at PD360. • It works similar to "Cover flow", the album covers in itunes. • You could collapse the whole thing if it doesn't work for you.

  4. The Wall • Similar to a facebook wall. • You could see what colleagues are doing and post messages to your friends.

  5. Set up a profile Add tags, descriptive words to help others search you such as teacher, middle school, Language Arts. Add as much or a little personal information you want. You could change your password if you haven't already.

  6. Edit your preferences Change your email preferences if you don't want an email after every update.

  7. Search for and add Colleagues Type in key words. You could add advanced filters to find people with common interests.

  8. Search for communities

  9. Communities Advanced Search Type in key words. You could add advanced filters to find groups with common interests to discuss ideas and/or share resources.

  10. Search for videos 1. First click on PD videos icon on the top. 2. Then click on the folder of the topic that interest you. 3. Choose your age group. 4. And finally click on video segment you want to see.

  11. Video options You could share videos with colleagues. Answer the reflection questions after watching the video. You could download the video as an MP3 to listen to or as a transcript to read.

  12. Take notes You could take notes while watching a video or just use this feature as a sticky note.

  13. Answer reflection questions Answer the reflection questions and hit submit. Follow up questions will become available 3 days after you respond to the reflection questions.

  14. Print a Personal Usage Report

  15. Individual Report Your principal can view your usage. Time you spent watching. Questions you answered. Your answers.
