  2. Although not a very accentuated character throughout the play, Steve Hubbell was actually a pretty vital one. He’s actually more of an important protagonist then accredited for. In an essence he actually sets the tone for a lot of the plot taking place.

Steve Hubbell: Character Outline • Steve Hubbell is the abusive husband of Eunice. • Although Steve himself is abusive he helps provide aid and refuge to Stella from Stanley • Owner of the apartment building • Are the upstairs neighbors of Stanley and Stella • Plays poker along with Stanley, Mitch, & Pablo

Personality Quotes Personality Traits Quotes “Give me two cards” In response to no one wanting to take risks in the poker game. “This ole farmer is out in back of his house sittin' down th'owing corn to the chickens when all at once he hears a loud cackle and this young hen comes lickety split around the side of the house with the rooster right behind her and gaining fast.“ *Interrupted* "But when the rooster catches sight of the farmer th'owing the corn he puts on the brakes and lets the hen get away and starts pecking at the corn.
