It is produced in a man's genital organs and by ovaries and adrenal glands of females in low amounts. Androgel is a safe and easy to use medication. About Androgel

  3. Dosage of Androgel The suggested preliminary dose of Androgel 1% is 50 mg of testosterone, applied topically once daily in the morning to the shoulders and upper arms and/or abdomen area. It is recommended to use this medication same time every day. If the serum testosterone concentration is below the normal range, the daily Androgel 1% dose may be increased from 50 mg to 75 mg and from 75 mg to 100 mg for adult males.
