  3. Why do teens need vitamins? Adolescents need plenty of vitamins and minerals during their growth spurt. Girls, this generally occurs around 10 to 11 years Boys it occurs later, at around 12 to 13 years Nutritional & energy needs at this time are greater than at any other time of life!

  5. # 1- Fat Soluble • Are dissolved and stored in the Fat tissue of the body. • Because these are fat soluble, they can be toxic to the body and there can be physical side effects of overdose.
