  • Keep in mind that Pre-K is part of the public school system and therefore must adhere to its rules regulating attendance and truancy. In this way Pre-K is very different from a private child development center. Children must attend regularly and adhere to all truancy and attendance regulations stipulated by the school and state.

  • Students are to arrive on time and attend every day.

  • Please make an effort to schedule routine doctors appointments before or after your child’s brief time at school.

  • Be SURE to provide a doctors note within 3 days, in the event that your child is sick.

  • Meals are a part of the Judson ISD Pre-K curriculum

  • All students will eat during meal time

  • If you wish to send a meal with your child you may do so

  • Any child that does not bring a meal from home will get a tray from the cafeteria

  • If you do not wish for your child to receive a cafeteria tray then you must send them with something nutritious to eat during meal time

  • Please do not send candy or soda to school

  • District policy states that family member must complete volunteer training through the district before they can volunteer in the classroom with students (you’ll need this if you want to come into the room on your child’s birthday or attend field trips)

  • Please sign up if you would like to volunteer
