  3. THE LESSON AIM • The goal of this lesson is to introduce fundamental networking concepts and technologies. • The online course materials will assist the student in developing the necessary skills to plan and implement small networks across a range of applications.

  6. Brainstorming • The globalization of the Internet has succeeded faster than anyone could have imagined. • Innovators will use the Internet as a starting point for their efforts - creating new products and services specifically designed to take advantage of the network capabilities.

  7. Here is your first modeling activity • Each student draws his/her concept of the Internet • Saves his/her work in a hard-copy format, as it will be used for future reference. • Shares and explains his/her work to the class.
