Results 2005 - General • SAS-waiver programme • Over 90 % of users signed up • Move to e-ordering: special procedure for paper confirmation was worked out • USE-ordering: special order approval procedure was worked out • SIBOS Copenhagen: > 100 delegates from Russia & CIS • CIS-day: not as successful as previous years, formula to be revisited SWIFT_Russia_2005_2006_v1
Results 2005 - Banking • Continued promotion of SWIFTNetSolutions • Roadshow in June concentrating on Bulk Payments, Cash Reporting, Exceptions and Investigations and SWIFTNet Accord • As a result two banks registered to SWIFTNet FileAct, but so far without any real traffic • Corporate Access: • Participated at several seminars • Continuing discussion with several corporates • Received approval from Central Bank of Russia on the use of SWIFT messages for Corporate to Bank communication SWIFT_Russia_2005_2006_v1
Results 2005 - Securities • Participated at several conferences • Close cooperation with NDC and DKK with regard to the establishment of the Central Securities Depository • Big traffic increase of DKK thanks to their decision of cancelling the extra fee for handling SWIFT messages • Continued cooperation with the Securities Industry Bodies: PARTAD, NAUFOR, … SWIFT_Russia_2005_2006_v1
Results 2005 – Market Infrastructures and Standards • Continued cooperation with Central Bank of Russia regarding RTGS • Discussion with FSFR regarding the use of International Standards and practices on the Russian Financial Markets • Continued cooperation with NDC and DKK for the establishment of CSD • Organised a Standards Day in October • Discussions with several industry bodies regarding the use of international standards SWIFT_Russia_2005_2006_v1
