  11. Introduction to EVPA 3 • EVPA is a non-profit membership association comprised of organisations interested in or practicing venture philanthropy in Europe • It was set up in 2004. Since 2009 the EVPA office is in Brussels • 130 Members from 20 countries within a wide range of sectors, including social investment, private equity, foundations, advisory firms, academia and private banks • Mission • To support members in carrying out venture philanthropy activities • To promote venture philanthropy throughout Europe • Find out more at: www.evpa.eu.com

Introduction to EVPA/Membership 3 Full membership Open to organisations whose activities include venture philanthropy andwho have set aside a designated budget for VP activities Associate membership Open to organisations with a serious interest in venture philanthropy and a good standing within their industry Honorary membership Invitation-only by the EVPA Board for individuals or organisations who can provide valuable insight and/or assistance to EVPA’s mission and goals • EVPA follows a thorough due diligence process before welcoming members • Members commit to EVPA’s code of practice
